Process

If you haven’t hired an illustrator before or don’t know what to expect? Here’s four steps that are always part of my process.

1. Briefing

You describe what you need. Scope, budget and timeframe are also important to know.

I may ask you for additional details.

2. Sketch

Based upon the briefing and any additional info I will create one or several sketches, depending on our agreement. I will present these to you for review.

3. Feedback

After the sketch there is a correction round, where your feedback can refine the design. The adjusted design will then once more be presented to you for review and final tweaks.

4. Final Product

Once the final art is done, you will receive it in the agreed upon file formats, sizes. Or, if you buy an original, the work will be well packaged and shipped to you.
